*******

Hello to my like-minded folks. The FixYaFace Inner Beauty/Outer Wellness Blogazine is enthused by your return and honored to have attracted some new viewers. When I say thank you for that, I mean it. I am inspired by our mutual understandings as well as our pretty cool differences. Different prizes to have our eye on. I am a work in progress. Scopes of work start with a vision. If vision gets blurry, clear it and realign. If vision gets dim, re-up on your vitamins, clear it and realign. If someone blocks your vision, clear them out and realign. See the victory! Speak the victory! Perform the victory dance! See things thru "The Victorious E.Y.E". See in your vision-'Equal ' Opportunity. See people and approach your interaction with methods that can only get you a 'Yes' for an answer. See yourself 'Evolving', through preparation that will keep you ready to do the work towards your goal. There is surely work to do but we can do it! No gossip, no judgment and no subliminal hatred. We know their on the sideline but not in our view:)

You are determined, devoted and decorating your room with forceful imagery! Imagery that moves you, delights you and forces you to take a mental note. That note can be energy worth conveying through a movement. In the past we may have moved wrong, we moved back or even we moved over. As per the NOW, with respect to imagery of the FUTURE.. we have a great chance of moving forward. YAAY US! Stay away from the NAY-SAYERS. Find more YAAY-SAYERS like yourself that will share a naturally supportive conversation with you. Do not allow someone to rob you of your joy, through their melancholy vision conveyed via their gloomy words. Congrats on everything that empowers you here, to take action, on this earth. A higher power watches/protects as you work and love
:) Keep going! Keep learning! Keep loving!

As always,
like-minded, positive people will always find each other. And it's always pleasure to see you here at FYF:) At some point you have to smile about it. So have fun! Have faith! And FIX YA FACE!

Exercises Of The Month: 1. Drink fresh vegetable juices. 2. If a effort is going great for you, KEEP GOING! 3. Experience a walk, jog or free concert in a park near you.

As per FoodReference.com, JULY is National Culinary Arts Month

CANTALOUPE GOODNESS

The New Fruit Of The Month is cantaloupe. The cantaloupe contains, but not limited to, Vitamin A (helps prevent viral infections, maintain eyesight health), Potassium (reduces risk of high blood pressure), Folic Acid (lessens risk of having babies with neural tube defects) Vitamin C(aims to absorb iron & make healthy tissue). By containing a high percentage of water, the cantaloupe is can low in calories. Take advantage of the great properties that summer fruits have to offer your lifestyle and enjoy fun ways of maintaining your healthy outlook.

*******************

Mini Skin Me Fruit Salad JULY 08

We drank 1 cup of water before indulging in this delight. Remove the skin of the cantaloupe. Then slice the cantaloupe in 4 quarters. I slice those quarters into cube size. I place a thin layer of whip cream in the bottom of a few short 8 oz. wine glasses. Mix a handful of cantaloupe cubes, blueberries and soft raisins. Scoop the fruits on top of the whip cream layer. No top layer of whip cream. Refrigerate for 5 minutes and share. It's a Mini "Skin Me" because I'm only using three fruits (usually it's 4 ). But these fruits' properties promote healthy skin. The whip cream is just goooood, lol. It's best to have sugar in moderation so don't overdue it, if you try it:)

CHAPPED HANDS REMEDY # 1012 by CO BIGELOW

...is dual simplicity and pleasure for the hands. One creamy little dab of it can promote softer feeling skin and relieve any ideas of dryness. The menthol aroma is a reminder that serious hydration is in effect. The scent sparked thoughts of goodness equal to the purpose of the product. If you try it, I hope it's an enjoyable addition to your own potent remedies. Please use your own personal discretion /caution if you are allergic, sensitive or unsure.

A Beautiful Mind welcomes
DJ UNITY (CALIFORNIA)

1. If there's a song that reflects your vibe, what would that song be? What color do you feel most vibrant wearing this
season?
Do you meditate, pray or/and take time to mentally relax? If so why/how long?

Wow... A song that would reflect my vibe. I would have to say, Earth Wind & Fire's "Keep Your Head To The Sky". Whenever I hear it, I know there's light at the end of the tunnel, no matter what life brings. it reminds me to never give up on anything that I'm trying to achieve.

I'd have to say White is color that makes me feel most vibrant during the summer. It's just simple and fresh!!

I try to pray and meditate often, because doing so helps to keep me focused.

2. Tell us about UNITY MUSIK and ORGANIC SOUL. How did this journey begin?

This Journey really began for me in high school. I used to walk around my neighborhood carrying a bunch of cassette tapes, and a Boom Box! Everybody used to call me tape girl... LOL!!! True story. I knew at a very young age that music was something that I wanted to be involved in. From singing in the choir, to playing the drums for my church. I've had the chance to work on some of the best videos for two of our top music labels, Universal Records, and Atlantic Records. But radio has always been a passion of mines. so for the last 8 years I've really tried to stay focused on doing just that, Being on the air, I can really be myself, and inspire others through music. Unity Musik is Classic Soul, Neo-Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz and R&B all rolled into one. Organic Soul is a feeling which is the music. Music that is planned to tell a story for each one of my shows from my soul to yours. "Organic Soul" airs live every Sunday from 2pm-3pm (Pacific Standard Time) on www.kclafm.com. Which will soon be changing to a new station in the next few weeks.

3. With your successful experiences allowing you to connect with people as a Producer and On Air Radio Personality, what are some of your day to day activities?
My days are full everyday... I'm a mom first, so i spend a lot of time with my children. Other activities include research, and reviewing music lot's of phone calls. But to be honest everyday is different for me... I'm always working on my music especially at night.

4. What do you do for fun? What new fun thing would you like to try? As of recently, I love to go bowling. I would love to learn how to kick box.

5. One thing on my Life List is to go on a really cool vacation with my husband... Somewhere like the Jamaica, or the Bahamas, or Hawaii.

Life is so crazy busy for us both at this point and time.

6. What/Who keeps your grounded in this ever changing world?

My family keeps me grounded. They're always so supportive, and understanding. As well as give me the extra push when I need it.

7. What are 2 qualities that you prefer in a mate at this point in your life? Be supportive, and be understanding!!!

8. Who gave you 1 really good piece of advice and what was it?

My mentor, Jeff Panzer once told me... "Every time you get paid, ALWAYS PAY YOURSELF no matter what"!!! He said, "Don't put it in the bank, put it somewhere where only you know where it is, and don't touch it"!!! Every since he told me that, I've done it, and It works. Trust me!

9. What piece of business advice would you like to share? Always do you, and keep it real!!

10. Butter Pecan, Vanilla OR Strawberry Ice Cream? High Heel, Low Heel OR No Heel? Butter Pecan. Low Heel.

11. What word would best describe you right now? STRIVING!!
