The FixYaFace Inner Beauty/Outer Wellness Blogazine is here! For YOU! The summer is here! Protect YOURSELF in this weather! Politically historical and personally historical times are here!! YAAAY YOU!! I am honored that you returned to continue giving your positive energy to a site that I was urged to begin as a place to share my "top secret" sources of motivation. OH it is no secret at all. If you seek a mood/thought/perspective you will surely find it:) I need motivation. All I know is what I want and what I want changes sometimes, lol. The recreation of goodness that comes back around and the dismissal of anxiety that effects the events that I have to come to terms with. Closure and the opening of new doors. WE LOVE IT!! I'm hopeful that you love it too or else you may be lingering in the wind. And not at FYF attempting to replenish:) Thank you for the even exchange.
After age 21 you are an adult for the rest of your life. BUT there's rarely any "rest" in your life? So what. Do you really want to rest? Enjoy the idea that you do have somewhere to be and that if you did not show up-you would be missed. GO GET MISSED!! When you come over to the other (adult) side bring your duffle bag of motivational memories that you value and leave a lot of room in there for newer ideas of inspiration. You may need that to protect you from those that plan to pause your miss-a-bility (LOL I know that is not a word). Some folks really seem to believe that if you choose a different path for yourself than they wanted for you, they have the right to judge. Isn't wonderful to have heard by now, that your individual destiny is as rare as your DNA and "surely goodness and mercy shall follow you..?" Congratulations on growing, regrouping and feeling like there is always an extremely probability that everything is going to be alright again and again and again!
As always, thank you to the veteran readers and the new viewers that have chosen this site as worthy of your time. Thank you immensely and welcome you always to write, read and pass along any of the topics/flyers/recipes below that inspired you in your daily activities. Remember to work-in-that-work- out, know that you are loved, tell somebody you love them and KEEP GOING because this is our time:)
I really miss my daddy and I wouldn't be his daughter if I didn't take this moment to show respect to the GREAT FATHERS! To The ones that buys ice cream and talk to us. And later 'talk our heads off' when we go to buy our first new car (you paid for). To the ones that don't know how to quite dance to this "young peoples music" but later will dance real well with you at your wedding. To the ones that taught you right from wrong so later you knew (or atleast thought you knew) when it was right to point the bad boyzz 'to the left'. To the ones that treated you like someday you too can even be the president! And later the one that actaully ....I'm out:) HAPPY SUMMER EVERYBODY!!
1. Drink fresh vegetable juice. 2. Get the lesson and keep going. It's one in everything:)

As per NSC.org, JUNE is National Safety Month
"Surrounding Yourself with Goods"...Sunday June 1, 2008
Pass on a smile and except a kind word. Then keep it moving. Sounds simple but it can be hard with difficult things on our mind at the time. You won't be judged. Joy it's on it's way. Remember that and get prepared for it's arrival. THAT should make you smile. Once again,This June, everyone you meet CAN be an opportunity to learn or exchange working concepts. Your life has valuable properties and you can continue to discover your joy in your journey. As others learn about themselves through their perspectives, it is not for you to change them but for you to choose them as valuable partners in your journey or NOT. Like-minded, positive people will always find each other. And it's always pleasure to see you here at FYF:)
The New Fruit Of The Month is usually hard and brown on the outside but oozing with a creamy sweet interior (excuse me? lol). The meat of it is squeezed, soaked in warm water and repeatedly squeezed again until the milk presents itself. (what in the world?, lol). Thats' right, created all over the world ands enjoyed by many-we can only be talking about the coconut. The coconut contains Vitamin A (helps prevent viral infections, maintain eyesight health), Niaicin (Vitamin B3 that reduces cholesterol; promotes detoxification), Riboflavin (converts body fat/protein into energy; promotes a strong immune system; healthy hair, nails and skin) Add a little coconut milk to your internal regimens at home (hair conditioners, drinks, body scrub). Take advantage of the great properties that summer fruits have to offer your lifestyle and enjoy fun ways of maintaining your healthy outlook.
The only two states in the U.S. where coconut palms can be grown and reproduced outdoors without irrigation are Hawaii and Florida. Coconut palms will grow from Bradenton southwards on Florida's west coast and Melbourne southwards on Florida's east coast. The occasional coconut palm is seen north of these areas in favoured microclimates in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro area and around Cape Canaveral. They may likewise be grown in favoured microclimates in the Rio Grande Valley area of Deep South Texas near Brownsville and on Galveston Island. They may reach fruiting maturity, but are damaged or killed by the occasional winter freezes in these areas. While coconut palms flourish in south Florida, unusually bitter cold snaps can kill or injure coconut palms there as well. Only the Florida Keys and the coastlines provide safe havens from the cold as far as growing coconut palms on the U.S. mainland.
The farthest north in the United States a coconut palm has been known to grow outdoors is in Newport Beach, California along the Pacific Coast Highway. In order for coconut palms to survive in Southern California they need sandy soil and minimal water in the winter to prevent root rot, and would benefit from root heating coils.
1 1/2 cups long-grain rice
1 (14-ounce) can unsweetened coconut milk
2/3 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 large ripe mango, peeled and cubed in a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the rice and stir to coat with the oil. Add the coconut milk, water, and salt; bring to a boil. Stir in the mango. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer about 20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
Remove the rice from the heat and fluff with a fork. Place a clean, dry dish towel over the pan, cover with the lid, and let steam for 5 minutes before serving.

THE BODY SHOP
As per "Activate Self Esteem"
Donate a phone, save a life
"Beginning in March, The Body Shop called for Americans to voice their concern about the shocking extent of domestic violence by recycling their old cell phones and our loyal customers responded. A record 115,000 cell phones have been collected from coast to coast, raising much needed funds to help victims. The donated phones will be sold, refurbished, or recycled, with proceeds benefiting the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) and the Wireless Foundation. Additionally, a number of phones will be distributed to approximately 200 women's shelters for dissemination to at-risk women who need access to a personal safety system when domestic violence strikes."
