You can find a good book and indulge in a cold glass of pomegrante juice. If it is too tart, I add water. The health benefits are wonderful.
As per Homecooking.About.com: 12 Ginger Pomengrante Muffins
In a bowl, mix flour, 2/3 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in crystallized ginger, lemon peel, and pomegranate seeds. Make a well in the center. In a measuring cup, blend milk, egg, and 1/4 cup butter. Pour liquid all at once into well. Stir just until batter is moistened; it will be lumpy.Spoon batter into 12 (21/2-inch-wide) or 24 (13/4-inch-wide) buttered muffin cups, filling each almost to the rim. Sprinkle with 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar.Bake in a 425-degree F oven until lightly browned-16 minutes for large muffins-13 minutes for small. Remove muffins from pan. Serve hot or set on a rack and serve warm or cool.

1. What keeps you feeling beautiful?
Not taking myself too seriously keeps me feeling beautiful, as well as surrounding myself around positive people & things, and of course laughing...a bubble bath doesn't hurt either!
If there's a song that reflects your vibe, what would that song be?
The Police - Englishman In New York I love that song! It's sexy, jazzy, rocky/edgy, with a touch of ska/reggae and funk which incorporates a lot of my musical tastes and ultimately my vibe, but more importantly i love the words its about feeling like an outsider which I feel like a lot; how having morals will make u a hero; and to always be yourself...those beliefs are the vibe I'm on as well.
2. With the success of your modeling (for Jose Cuervo Heart & Soul Magazine and American Vintage Clothing Line To name a few), do you have any ideas for new ventures as well?
Most definitely! Modeling just sort of happened, my vision has always been to become a mogul and break the stereotype of the brainless model chick. My current ventures are to expand my artist management (I manage DJ Dummy) into the start of my Entertainment Company, while continuing to act (I'll be in American Gangster this November) and host (I co-host the monthly Underground Hip-Hop Showcase Streets Have a Voice). Later the plan is to embark on my national hospitality chain idea...but the details of that are top secret, lol
3. When did you know that Radio Hosting was in your future? What are you most proud of that you've done?
As a radio jockey when I was at Syracuse University, I loved it. So I knew that it was something I wanted to get into when I moved to NYC. Up to date as far as hosting, I think I'm proudest of my either my interview with the legendary Marley Marl or Kid Capri that I did with AOS Radio, both where a lot of fun.
4. What do you do for fun? What new fun thing would you like to try?
I'm really into photography, just started up sewing and designing, traveling, and home improvement (my Nickname is Home Depot). I think it's fun when you follow all your interests big or small...but the top things i do for fun are listen to music and dance. Something new that i want to try is skydiving.
5. What are a few of the daily activities in the Life of Jai Milan?
Every morning i put music on and dance around in my underwear, then i get down to business (email, calls, etc), I always try to incorporate some sort of exercise in my day, I make myself learn at least one new thing a day, and I have to have at least one sweet a day, cookies are my downfall!
6. What keeps you grounded in an ever changing world?
My spirituality...not taking myself too seriously...knowing that tomorrow isn't promised...and not comparing myself to others.
7. What are 2 qualities that you prefer in a mate at this point in your life?
Working in this industry you find so many men that think "ballin" is an actual quality, it's quite disconcerting...two qualities that I prefer are passion on a topic that they're educated in and being cultured.
8. Who gave you 1 really good piece of advice and what was it?
My mom has always told me to never settle for anything you don't want and to never depend on a man because he can always leave you...i know that's two, but those have been 2 really good pieces of advise that has helped me to be determined and independent.
9. What piece of business advice would you like to share?
If your work is what you truly love, it will never feel like work.
10. Champagne, Wine or Sparkling Apple Cider? Vanilla, Chocolate or Strawberry?
I always have to be difficult lol... Premium vodka. White Chocolate
